Frozen food ships Monday through Wednesday in an insulated foam cooler with gel ice, and it arrives within 2 business days. We ship to the 48 contiguous states and DC. We never ship frozen food Friday through Sunday, because a box should not sit in a carrier warehouse over a weekend.

The weekly schedule
Frozen orders ship the same day if you order by 2 PM ET on a ship day. Transit is two business days.

Arrival dates are estimates. Holidays and carrier closures can move them. The product page and the cart show the estimated date for your ZIP before you pay.
One-day ZIP codes
Some addresses are reachable by the carrier in one day. For those ZIPs the box arrives the day after it ships, and Thursday orders (by 2 PM ET) ship too and arrive Friday. For every other address, a Thursday order waits for Monday.
Thursday is used only for those ZIPs, so the box still lands on Friday.
What is in the box
Every frozen order is packed the same way, from the outside in:
- Shipping carton
- Foam cooler
- Gel ice on the bottom
- Your food
- Gel ice on top
- Foil cover
- Bubble wrap in the gaps
- Foam lid
- Shipping label
- Perishable label

How long does the food stay frozen?
We ran our own test in summer 2025, with 82–93 °F air outside. It is our own test and is not certified by a laboratory. A sealed foam cooler with 12 frozen Jimmy Dean croissant breakfast sandwiches, a sensor in the center:

The food stayed below 32 °F for 48 hours and was above 40 °F by 60 hours. That is why we plan for two business days and no longer. What it costs
The Freezer Fill and Freezer Stock-Up boxes ship free. Every other cold order pays the live 2-day rate to your ZIP, with the cooler and gel ice included. The cart shows the amount once you enter your ZIP, and checkout charges the same.
Frozen and refrigerated items travel in separate coolers, so an order with both may arrive as two packages.
What if it arrives thawed?
Bring the box inside on delivery day and put frozen food in the freezer right away. Food that is cold, firm or softened with ice crystals is normal. Food that is warm to the touch, fully soft, with liquid in the bag or a bulging seal should be reported.
Tell us as soon as you open the box, and no later than within 24 hours after the carrier records delivery. Send your order number and photos or a short video of the shipping label, the open cooler with its gel packs, and the affected items. We answer within 24 hours. If the claim is justified, we first offer a replacement or a refund. Conditions apply; the guarantee page lists them, including what is not covered.
Where we do not ship
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US territories, military addresses or PO boxes.
Ordering for Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov 26, 2026), order by 2 PM ET on Monday, Nov 23. The box ships that day and arrives Wednesday, Nov 25. If the carrier reaches your ZIP in one day, you can order until Tuesday, Nov 24. Our warehouse in Clearwater, FL is closed Nov 26–27, and the first shipping day after the break is Monday, Nov 30. Why don't you ship frozen food on Friday?
A Friday box could spend the weekend in a carrier warehouse. A two-day trip leaves Monday to Wednesday so it arrives by Friday.
Do you use dry ice?
No. Orders ship in an insulated foam cooler with gel ice packs frozen solid before packing.
Can I pick up my order?
No. We ship from our warehouse in Clearwater, FL and do not offer pickup.
